The metal artwork is inspired by the Baldwin Hills Park's initiative to create a park populated by native plants and animals. The design, spanning the whole length of the bench / display platform, is composed of different birds, plants, and animals that populated the Baldwin Hills area. The site is located on top of the hill with the 360 degree view of Los Angeles area from downtown Los Angeles to Santa Monica Beach.
